Guiding Principles

  • The leadership of a country has the primary responsibility of determining the direction that a country should go
  • The Servant Leadership model demonstrated in the Bible is one of the critical keys in equipping leaders to be relevant in Africa and beyond
  • Leaders at all levels are ministers of God and should be vessels to dispense His righteousness and justice to His people
  • Leaders must be equipped (re-trained) so that they can lay new and proper foundations for their nations. Our post-independence foundations are rooted in tribalism, nepotism, corruption, indolence and oppression
  • The church must fully participate in providing leaders and direction to the nation by coming out of the deception of "Secular and Spiritual", and fully engage in the marketplace

Main Objectives

The objective of SALT Institute is to train, build up, and encourage servant leaders who can:

  • Understand what will free their nations from spiritual, economic, social, political and natural calamities
  • Interpret national crises correctly, work out solutions and implement recommendations accurately
  • Lay new foundations in leadership for African nations based on Godly principles
  • Handle the intrigues of governance and leadership without losing personal integrity

Our Programme

The SALT Institute (Kenya) runs a 22 week intensive evening course (once a week) from 6:00 - 8:00pm. The participants enjoy learning in group discussions and handle contemporary group projects, along with assignments. They are also exposed to trainers who are in the industry and are able to relate to present market challenges. We also offer targeted seminars for public and private sector institutions upon request.
